Philip Lombardi
Driver Coach
Phil has been racing and working in Motorsport for over 40 years.
His journey started in Karts where he won multiple championships including 3 WKA National Championships as a factory sponsored driver. This led to racing cars, in particular F-1600 & F-2000, where he again won multiple championships at the Regional, National, and Professional levels.
In between all the racing Phil spent 17 years as a Master Instructor and Test Driver for the Skip Barber Racing School and Race Series. Followed by several years at both Lucas Oil School of Racing and PTC Driving Academy as a Lead Instructor.
With all Phil’s racing and teaching experience it was only natural that he’d transition into private coaching. Which he has done for the last 15 years.
In between coaching gigs Phil is the pace car driver for Ferrari Challenge, works in a custom automotive restoration shop, and volunteers at his local Humane Society. Animal rescue has become his new passion since hanging up his helmet.
Phil resides in southern NH with his 4 rescue cats Niki, Mika, Taz, and Toby
