Jim Kearney
Driver Coach
Jim is Cahan Racing Team’s newest driver coach. He comes with a load of experience behind the wheel he understands that it’s not just about the car, but it’s about what's going on inside the helmet. He sees coaching as more than just pointing out where the apex of a turn is.
It’s about the plan, the process, to get to where the driver wants to go in as simple a way as possible. In fact, his ability to explain things and lay out a strategy that works is one of his superpowers! Jim believes in a steady, systematic approach that builds comfort and confidence and meets reasonable goals. We are excited to have him as part of our team.

Eben Cahan
Founding Partner
Eben is the owner/proprietor of Amigo Tire & Auto in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Growing up, he was able to witness an F1 race in Montreal, and his passion for motorsports fuse was lit! From building and racing vehicles of questionable safety in auto shop class to almost failing driver education for speeding, the fire to compete and win burned.
Eben started racing autocross in the 90s and transitioned to sports car racing in the early 2000s. Even though he won regional championships with the SCCA and NASA in 2006 and 2008 respectively, his biggest triumphs and trophies are his three sons. Two of them drive for Cahan Racing Team.
