The Cahan Racing Team continued to make waves in the Formula Race Promotions (FRP) paddock this past weekend at Pittsburgh International Race Complex. Brothers Gabriel and Ayrton Cahan showed impressive pace and consistency across three competitive F1600 races, walking away with a combined four podium finishes.

Cahan Racing Team kicked off their 2025 Formula Race Promotions (FRP) campaign in dominant fashion at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, securing five podium results in the F1600 class, including a victory and a pair of outright class wins in F2000. Brothers Gabriel and Ayrton Cahan showcased their speed and race craft throughout the weekend, setting a strong tone for the season ahead.

After a successful rookie season in the 2024 Formula Race Promotions program, the brother duo of Gabriel and Ayrton Cahan will return in 2025. The duo will join Eric Langbein Racing for the upcoming season as they look to continue their success in the competitive and challenging F1600 class.

Closing the most recent event with a pair of podium results, laps led, and four top-ten finishes, the championship picture is now set.

It was another cross-country trek for the New Mexico-based Cahan Racing Team as Gabriel and Ayrton Cahan were back in action at the Formula Race Promotions (FRP) program. With Gabriel earning two wins in F2000, Ayrton had his best event weekend yet in F1600 with a trio of top-ten results as they battled adverse weather conditions at the ultra-fast Lime Rock Park facility.

Mid-Ohio was a success for Cahan Racing Team

Cahan Racing Team (CRT) this past weekend descended into Lexington, Ohio, and the famed Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Making the long cross-country trek from their shop in New Mexico, the team went home with some hardware, including one podium finish and four top-ten results.

Cahan Racing Team Set for First FRP Event of 2024

The time has finally come for the start of the 2024 season and for the Cahan Racing Team to make their Formula Race Promotions debut. Acquiring assets at the end of 2023 from another race team, Ayrton and Gabriel Cahan are set to make their first FRP starts this coming weekend at the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Gabriel Cahan will see action in the F2000 class while brother Ayrton will pilot an F1600 machine.
